Seeking an aggressive, outside the box thinking individual to cultivate and grow retail sales calling on Home Center Chains, Hardware Store Co-Ops, and Farm Store Chains. Individual will need to be outgoing, with either a college BS degree or prior experience calling on retail accounts. Individual needs to be willing to travel, organized, and proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point.



This position is to lead, actively participate, and implement best Lean practices to support an efficient manufacturing work place environment. This position will impact customer satisfaction by improving quality, speed, and overall costs of our work place.

Job Description

  • Lead continuous improvement planning to impact quality and costs of our manufacturing workplace.
  • Implement 5S workshops and kaizen efforts for improved quality and productivity plant wide.
  • Develop plant productivity metrics, monthly monitoring, and year long goals.
  • Support training for Lean principles and manufacturing best practices.
  • Increase floor space management and maximize material point of use storage.
  • Improve all aspects of supporting a visual factory for work place areas, documents, and training.
  • Support day to day concerns and long term improvement with plant supervisors.

Education (Min.):

Associates Degree

Experience (Preferred):

Lean or productivity manufacturing experience with 5 years of experience desired.


Directly reports to Plant Operations / President



This position will support machining operations by proactively leading, monitoring and improving the manufacturing processes and procedures. This person works directly with the machining, manufacturing, engineering, other company personnel and suppliers to ensure that machining operations are efficient.


  • Participate and lead lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at continuously improving existing machining processes and creating and implementing new procedures
  • Generate, standardize, monitor and maintain CNC equipment programs to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Work with machining supervisors to develop, maintain and improve setup and operator training in the areas of production, quality and safety.
  • Determine appropriate tooling and fixturing needs for machine operations and work with Tool Room, suppliers and Purchasing to procure or design needed items and monitor results.
  • Proactively initiate tooling trials to continuously improve machining efficiency, coordinate with suppliers, monitor and report data.
  • Work with Tooling Engineer on gauging needs for machining operations and work with Quality and Tool Room personnel to procure or design needed items.
  • Work with Maintenance personnel to develop appropriate preventive maintenance procedures for machines and troubleshoot potential repair needs.
  • Work with appropriate internal personnel and suppliers on new product development, machine purchases and future planning.
  • Cooperate with all other company personnel and assist them whenever possible to help them succeed,as well as to insure the company’s success and to perform other duties as directed.

Education (min)

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required:

CNC setup and "G" code programming. Thorough understanding of machining, tooling and gauging concepts.

Experience (preferred):

Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.

Salaried position working on the production floor with Manufacturing, Design, and Quality Personnel. Efforts will support daily production needs, improve build efficiencies, lower cost scrap, and improve overall field quality.

Typical Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Resolve production and quality problems on end of line test, manufacturing dimensional issues, or operator concerns.
  • Review manufacturing capability and troubleshooting to help resolve in-house or field quality issues by use of statistical data and/or mechanical reviews.
  • Work with operators and manufacturing to help improve efficiencies for higher build rates and maintain quality standards.
  • Assist Design and Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes and manufacturing methods.
  • Define production capabilities vs drawing requirements to coordinate thru-puts and ability to meet design needs.
  • Capable of managing assigned individual projects, completing tasks, documenting results as needed, and meeting timelines.
  • Participate in design reviews or engineering changes to make recommendations on impact to manufacturing methods or procedures.

Experience and Background Desired:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing support background or Technical Associate Degree with 2+ years of technical background
  • Strong computer skill set to organize and document data.
  • Mechanical and hands on capability
  • Capable of interpreting data and mechanical functions to review products.
  • Ability to work within a team function to improve a product



Job Summary and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all production equipment plant wide to prevent and/or correct any electrical or mechanical issues. Perform preventive maintenance PM’s and inspections on all production equipment, building, and facility equipment. Analyze equipment failures, recommend and implement corrective action. Installs, maintains, and repairs equipment, physical structures of building, plumbing, and electrical systems. Must be able to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and have a strong electrical background and experience with three phase 480 delta/wye voltages and single phase AC voltages 240/208/120, and 24 volt DC circuits. Experience welding and fabricating skills is a plus. Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience. Must have experience with troubleshooting and minor programming on Allen - Bradley PLC‘s, PLC circuits. Mazak and Okuma CNC troubleshooting and repair is a plus.


High school diploma or GED required. Preferred two year technical degree or Journeyman Maintenance Certificate.

Experience required

Minimum 7 years maintenance experience with a strong electrical back ground.

Salary Range; start at $20.35, top pay after three years is $20.75
